Q: Are there any hidden costs that I have to pay?

 

A: No. The prices stated are inclusive. There is no VAT or call-out charge added.  Just the hourly rate + any materials + parking if outside zone D.

 

 

 

Q: What happens if I'm unhappy with work that has been carried out?

 

A: Let me know as soon as possible and I will try to rectify it.

 

 

 

Q: Can you provide references?

 

A: Yes, if you would like references these can be sent to you. Contact me for details.

 

 

 

Q: What hours do you work?

 

A: Normally between 9am-6pm Monday to Friday, however I will consider work outside these hours and at weekends.

 

 

 

Q: Are you insured?

 

A: Yes, I currently hold £1m liability insurance.

 

 

 

Q: What work don't you do?

 

A: I don't do any major electrical work. Similarly any gas or major plumbing work. My insurance limits me to ladder work up to 1st floor only.

 

 

 

Q: Do you have a minimum charge?

 

A: Yes. 1 hour.

 

 

 

Q: What payment methods do you accept?

 

A: I accept payment by cash or cheques only. A reciept is provided for all work.

 

 

 

Q: Do you offer discounts for long projects?

 

A: Yes. Sometimes for longer works, such as fencing projects, I operate a reduced day rate. Contact me for details.

 

 

 

Q: I live outside your work area, can I still use you?

 

A: If you are just outside the radius then yes, and probably at no further charge. I will consider work at longer distances but you will incur a call-out charge.
